?Where is our spring????
We have been so much looking forward
?this season and it has come right around
the corner but next day it has gone.?
? Where is it? ?
?
In this blog, we are supposed to talk
?about something having a lot to do
with glass and stuff because that is
?what we do for living in this company.?
?Like, “OK. I admit I love BUF0403 much
?better than BUF0243 now because it
looks much prettier”?
?Here I am, I’m confessing my love for BUF0403
?and I showing my sorriness for BUF0243
?that I don’t love it so much as I did to it.?
?The topic for this blog should be something like this.
?( I have no idea who wants to talk about his love to
?the specific glass style and who wants to hear it!)?
?But sometimes it is ok to talk about something else.
So I would like to talk about something else.
That is why the title is “OFF the Topic”.
?
さて、たまには外国の方達にも
このブログに目を通して欲しいという勝手な理由で、
今回は英語での書き込みとさせていただきます。
誠に勝手ながら、はい。
?
OK. So back to “Off the Topic”.
Be honest, I don’t know what I want to talk about but
I guess I want to talk a bit about a dogwood tree I saw the other day.?
(Oh well then this has something to do with glass stuff after all)
First of all, I really don’t know much
?about plants thing but as I work in a stained glass field,
I have learned some about them.?
Like, names of them (both in Japanese and English),
their appearance, and etc.? Anyway,
I was walking in a town the other day
?and I found this tree with fully bloomed.?
?It looked so pretty with a lot of pinkish petals
?and I thought no wonder why people want to make
?something with this tree; like 12” dogwood in Tiffany.
? Those petals actually look like butterflies, don’t they?
??Please see the picture.? (Sorry but this is not a great picture.)
How do I want to end this blog??
?Well, I just want to say I probably would have never
?been interested in flowers and stuff?
?if I had not worked in this glass field.??
?So it is always nice to learn something new.?
?
Hope all of you enjoy this time of year with
?plants and greens around you.?
Spring is just right over there!
